Nicole Barron is the two-time USA Dance National Amateur Smooth Champion and an NDCA National finalist with her partner Steve Torres. They also compete in Championship Standard. Nicole started dancing ballroom in college at NYU.
Wendy Chao is an open American Smooth competitor in the collegiate circuit. She first began her journey into the world of rhinestones three years ago, and has stoned all of the dresses and accessories she currently wears to compete. Wendy began dancing ballroom while attending NYU.
Martina Lee took her first box steps with the NYU Ballroom program and hasn’t looked back since. Achievements include top 6 in Championship Standard at the 2018 USA Dance National DanceSport Championships, and other national placements in amateur Smooth and Standard.
Pamela Licht is a Licensed Adjudicator with the NDCA holding her Fellowships in the International Styles and Memberships in American Styles with the United States Terpsichore Association. She is a former United States Professional Rising Star Rhythm Finalist and United States Professional 9-Dance Finalist.
Yuriy Nartov started dancing in Moscow, Russia when he was 7. He turned professional in 2014 and competed nationally and internationally, becoming a US Rising Star Finalist and a Rising Star Blackpool quarter-finalist in 2017. Yuriy currently teaches in New York City.
James Repetti became the United States National Vice Champion in American Rhythm in 2015. With over a decade of teaching experience and involvement in the collegiate circuit, James serves as the coach of all four styles for both Stony Brook and Hofstra University’s Ballroom Dance teams, as well as privately coaches individual couples from across the country.
Renata Shvarts is a certified WDSF World Class Adjudicator, as well as a Chairman of Judges with USA Dance and with NDCA who has judged some of the largest and most prestigious dance competitions in the country and abroad. She is also the co-owner of the Basic Ballroom and Ballroom Hub dance studios. Her students have been competing in and winning major dance championships worldwide.
